Rev. Cyrus Wachira Welcoming

A joyful and heartfelt celebration marked the welcoming of Rev. Cyrus Wachira as the new Parish Minister of PCEA Kiu Kenda Parish. The congregation received him with open arms, filled with gratitude and anticipation for the new season of ministry ahead.

Rev. Wachira arrived accompanied by his family, friends, and members of PCEA Nyamachaki Parish, where he had faithfully served before his new posting. The event was both emotional and inspiring — a moment of mixed feelings, as many expressed sadness at his departure from Nyamachaki and yet happiness and hope as he joined the Kiu Kenda family.

The service was filled with worship, thanksgiving, and prayer, symbolizing unity and a shared commitment to continue serving God together. Leaders from both parishes expressed words of appreciation, encouragement, and blessings for Rev. Wachira as he stepped into his new role.

With humility and grace, Rev. Wachira accepted the high calling of being the Parish Minister for PCEA Kiu Kenda Parish. In his remarks, he affirmed his commitment to serve God’s people faithfully, to walk with the congregation in love, and to strengthen the spiritual foundation of the parish.

The day ended with songs of joy, fellowship, and renewed purpose as the entire congregation looked forward to the journey ahead under his leadership. It was a day that beautifully captured the spirit of transition, faith, and unity within the PCEA family.
